UTSUMI carbon comb collection: UTSUMI carbon combs are made in Japan from premium quality carbon fiber. The Utsumi Carbon combs are preferred for their performance as the carbon fiber content makes them durable, strong and electrically conductive - they are therefore completely anti-static. The Utsumi carbon combs are extremely smooth with rounded edges and allow maximum control and mobility for cutting, styling and shaping. The Utsumi Carbon Comb collection was formerly marketed under the BW Boyd brand name.

 UTSUMI also offers a collection of premium quality, high performance ULTEM plastic combs. ULTEM is a high-strength plastic which is more flexible than carbon. It is static-free, so it does not tangle the hair, and can withstand high temperatures.
